A Question for the Aquarina Community

Unrest, concern, and support have emerged among the residents as a result of the AnAquarinaVoice.com Blog.  The overwhelming response has been positive and in agreement with what has been disclosed.  The Blog holds that only truths are published, and rumors and unsubstantiated information are avoided and not Blog worthy.  However, creditable and supported comments are encouraged to create a community dialogue.

The question for the Aquarina Community becomes: With a seven member Board of Directors overseeing the ACSA and the AGI (golf course, restaurant, tennis, and Beach Club) with resident paid fees coming in of about $1,500,000 per year, do these seven members need oversight or an Ombudsman Committee to make sure the By-Laws are followed and the four businesses are run within a business model and within budget, considering what has been disclosed by the Blog?

Here are some Aquarina FYI updates.

  • Fourth of July community get together (see link below for details).

  • Details below on the new community gate access.  Orientation to be offered.

Hi Residents,
Mike Morris of the Safety & Security Committee will be hosting a “Tap2Open Demo Day” at the Community Center, Thursday, June 28 starting at 5:00 PM!!  This will not be streamed via GotoMeeting – You will have to attend in person.

I’m sure you have many questions, so if you are still here on site, please stop by.  Bring your Smart Phones as well.  If you do not have or choose not to use a Smart Phone, I would encourage you to attend anyway.  Please note the FAQ’s below, and see you Thursday!

Frequently Asked Questions
June 25, 2018

How do residents enter?

Residents enter using their existing device. In addition they may use their cell phone or create a PIN that they can use at the keypad. (The keypad will be installed at the community entrance near the end of July. PIN numbers cannot be assigned before then).

I am a resident who is registered in the Envera system, do I need to fill out a form to register with Tap2Open

No registration form is necessary for Tap2Open. After logging into the Tap2Open database contact the Community Association Manager with any questions. You should have received an email with a link for registering online. If you have not please contact the Community Association Manager.

Do I still use the same fob for the Community Centre and the Beach Club?

Yes. You can still use the fob you now have to access the Community Centre and the Beach Club. After registering with Tap2Open and downloading the APP you will also be able to use your smartphone to enter these buildings.

I have a cleaning service or other service provider that comes once a week, do I need to do anything to ensure they can still enter Aquarina after July 29th.

Yes, you will need to send all of your service providers an email invitation. You can limit access to specific days of the week and specific hours and the period authorized (up to one year). You will eventually be able to generate a PIN for entry as an alternative to using a Smart Phone.

I rent my unit, how will I provide access to my tenants after July 29th?

As unit owner you must register online with Tap2Open, add the tenants and send them an email invitation. Provide them with a PIN as well. This PIN will be specific for your unit, tenant & tenant’s guests, and should not be distributed to anyone who is unrelated to your unit.

Please note that FEDEX, USPS and other such service providers will be given their own entry codes.

Respectfully,
